FAQ's
1) Why do I owe out of state fees, I have lived in Arizona all my life?
A: Proposition 300 requires CGCC to receive a signed Student Declaration Form and have a copy on file of your driver’s license to receive in state fees regardless of how long you have lived in Arizona.
2) How do I sign up for the payment plan?
A: Go to www.cgc.edu/fiscal and click on payment plans on the left hand side. Please have your MEID and password available. If you have already accessed your account go to the Finance tab and click on payment options.
3) How much is my financial aid award?
A: You can log in to www.my.maricopa.edu to see your award as well as any anticipated aid.
4) When will I get my financial aid?
A: Beginning this fall, financial aid recipients will have the option to receive their aid electronically. Instructions will be mailed this summer. Fall 2010 awards will be released approximately September 1st 2010.
5) What is your refund policy, can I still get a refund today?
A: Please go to www.cgc.edu/fiscal and click on Refund Policies and Procedures on the left hand side. For typical 16 week courses the refund policy is 7 calendar days including the first designated day of class.
6) Can I pick up my Financial Aid check?
A: Due to the volume of checks we receive all financial aid checks are mailed. Beginning Fall 2010 financial aid awards will be sent electronically based on your selection.
7) Where can I get my 1098T form?
A: Please go to https://www.maricopa.edu/1098t/ have your MEID and password available. Should you have questions please contact the phone number listed on the website.
8) I’m having problems signing up for the payment plan, I click Payment Plan yet nothing happens.
A: If you are having problems connecting from the payment plan link you need to remove your pop-up blocker. Facts is a separate website and having your pop-up blockers on will prevent you from accessing their payment plan site.
