Chandler-Gilbert Community College offers Testing Services at two locations, the Pecos Campus and the Williams Campus.  Both locations provide course placement testing and academic testing to assist students as they pursue their career, education and personal goals.

Placement testing is REQUIRED for English, Math and Reading.  Students may take the Placement Test at either the Pecos Campus or Williams Campus.

Attention:  Effective July 1, 2011, the use of the ASSET Placement Test (paper & pencil version) for Ability to Benefit (ATB) eligibility purposes will no longer be available.

• Financial Aid:
  Are you applying for Financial Aid and DO NOT have a high school diploma or G.E.D., please let the staff know that you need to take the Ability to Benefit Placement Test (English, Reading and Arithmetic portion of this math).  Please note:  Effective July 1, 2011, the use of the ASSET Placement Test (Paper and Pencil version) for the Ability to Benefit eligibility purposes will not longer be available.
  
  
• Placement Test (re-testing):
  Per Chandler-Gilbert Community College Catalog and Student Handbook, students are permitted one re-test in English, Reading, or Math level after a 24 hour waiting period.  An additional re-test is permitted one year from the date of the student's original or re-test at any course placement testing site.
