Testing Regulations 
  • All testers ARE REQUIRED to present a valid and current picture identification before testing (This includes students between the ages of 12-18).  The ID presented must be original, not a photocopy or reproduction.
Acceptable photo ID includes:   
Driver’s license or state ID
School ID
Employer ID
Passport
Military ID
Tribal ID
Naturalization Card
Official school transcript with photo, official seal must cover part of photo

Unacceptable ID includes:
Charge, bank,  credit, or check cashing card
Photo ID issued for promotional purposes (e.g. amusement park)
Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Organization membership card
Child Find ID Card
Police report of stolen wallet or purse
Parent’s photo ID
Graduation photo
Fishing or hunting license

  • Appointments are required for all placement testing (ACCUPLACER) and NET exams. 
  • For all exams, students must check-in at their designated appointment time.
  • Students who need special testing accommodations must be registered with the CGCC Disability Resources Office and must schedule an appointment for testing.
  • Lockers are provided for your items at the Pecos Campus Testing Center (no personal or electronic devices of any kind are permitted in the testing rooms, unless allowed per Disability Resources or Instructor).
  • Saturday testing appointments will only be accepted by noon on Thursdays (Pecos Campus only). Site and location may vary.
  • Only students who are testing and proctors are permitted in the Pecos Campus Testing Center.  Children are not allowed in the testing center and children 18 years old and younger cannot be left unattended.  (AR 2.4.10) Academic Misconduct - Students must adhere to MCCCD Academic Misconduct (AR2.3.11) regulations that prohibit cheating. 
  • Cheating includes, but not limited to, the use of unauthorized assistance in taking tests.  If you are suspected of academic misconduct your exam may be voided.  The matter will be referred to the faculty division chair for further review and if applicable, disciplinary action .
