WHO must have a current fingerprint clearance card? Arizona state law requires that all persons serving pupils in schools in a field experience placement shall possess a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Field experience is REQUIRED for any EDU, EED, CFS and MAT156/157 course at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. |

WHO must attend the orientations? All students taking Teacher Education courses at Chandler-Gilbert Community College are REQUIRED to attend one Service-Learning orientation. This flyer outlines the times and dates for orientations this semester.

This form is now available online for returning EDU students. Those students who have not previously attended an EDU Service-Learning Orientation must attend one before registering for Service-Learning placement. Please refer to the Orientation flyer above. The Confirmation is to be completed during your first visit to your assigned school. It is signed by your mentor teacher, you and your CGCC instructor. If self-placing, please pick up a Self-Placement Confirmation from the rack in the Student Life hallway.

The Time Log is completed each time you visit your mentor classroom. The evaluation is completed by your mentor at the end of your service. |
