About Camp Sky-Y's Facility

Cabins are grouped in  "Villages" by gender located close to a bathroom. With rustic yet modern cabins and shower facilities close by, Camp Sky-Y is perfect for campers of all ages to make new friends and experience fun and exciting activities. Our cabins are set up with 12 bunks for 12 campers. Each cabin has cubbies and closet space for the campers to store their belonging. With lots of fresh air outside each camper has a window at their bunk that they can open to let that air flow through the cabin. All cabins have large front porches great for cabin chats and get togethers.

Our newly remodeled bathroom and shower facilities are separated by gender. Each bathhouse has 4 separate showers with changing area, toilets and sinks.

The dining hall at Sky-Y is set up so that every cabin eats meals as a whole group. The food is served "Family" Style and comes out to the table in bowls and on platters. Campers pass the food and conversation around the table facilitating a great sense of community. The biggest benefit is that it give the campers and staff a chance to talk about what everyone did during the day. Many of the campers in the cabin will do different activities during the day so the chance to share what they did adds to everyone's overall camp experience.
