Hands-On Environmental Action Team

HEAT Mission & Goals
The Hands-on Environmental Action Team's (HEAT) mission is to inform, inspire, and ignite individuals regarding environmental issues and humanitarian disasters.
Environmentally, we personally and collectively seek to create a sustainable world that satisfies current needs without jeopardizing the livelihood of future generations. We do this by cultivating awareness about dangerous behaviors (such as global warming) that effect the earth's environment and then promoting protective action. The HEAT's commitment to create a sustainable earth is coupled with our devotion to people on the earth.
Our humanitarian response to crises is not based on charity but on equality and justice. That response materializes through fundraising and educating students and community members.
