CGCC Comedy Club
The Chandler Gilbert Community College Comedy Club is a student organization designed to provide an opportunity for students who like to perform, practice and enjoy comedy. The club meets as a whole monthly to play improv comedy games, write and read sketch comedy, and brainstorm new ideas and concepts. Our organization currently has an improv comedy troupe called "Reject llamas."
The club's goal is to expand, not only in performance groups, but in whole-group membership, with an intent down the road to be able to travel to various shows and compete in competitions, and even expand in the forms of current existing mediums.

Creative Writing Club
The CGCC Creative Writing Club seeks to cultivate a supportive, encouraging student community of poets, writers, playwrights, screenwriters, and performance artists. Club activities include attending public poetry and fiction readings at local bookstores and ASU, as well as area poetry slams. The Creative Writing Club will also produce and promote several public student readings and slams here at CGCC.

Our mission is to facilitate our study in the medical field through community service, networking with other students interested in medicine, and to raise awareness about medical professions, advancements and disease.

The Time is Now

Phi Theta Kappa
Phi Theta Kappa is an International Honors Society that recognizes and promotes academic achievement among the students of two-year colleges. Model United Nations
Model United Nations at Chandler-Gilbert is an academic program and organization designed to explore, evaluate, and debate real-life international issues which are presented to the actual United Nations and its associate bodies. Through this simulation program, students practice research skills, develop a greater understanding of the global issues, prepare policy statements and resolutions, and present these statements in simulated UN committees. This program is a unique opportunity to for CGCC students to illustrate the multiplicity of global issues and how nations deal with these issues through simulation of the various UN committees.
