New Student Orientation
Spring 2010
We want to congratulate you for pursuing your academic goals with Chandler-Gilbert Community College! Attending the New Student Orientation is your first vital step toward Starting Smart and becoming a successful college student. Attending an orientation session prior to the start of classes is mandatory for all students new to CGCC.
If you are completing 6 or more credits at CGCC's Williams Campus, you are highly encouraged to attend a Williams Campus orientation session.
Note: Class registration does not occur at New Student Orientation. In order to register for a session and attend, you must have already registered for your Spring semester classes. To register please visit an academic adviser: Academic Advisement Department
To register for the New Student Orientation, log-on to your Student Center at my.maricopa.edu and under CGCC's Class Schedule, choose one of the following dates as you register for classes and add it to your class schedule:

At New Student Orienation you will:
- Meet current students, administrators, faculty, and staff
- Learn about support resources and departments on campus
- Take a campus tour
Locations: Check-in for each New Student Orientation session will begin 30 minutes prior to the start of scheduled time. For CGCC Pecos Campus, check-in at the SC140 (Student Center Building). For CGCC Williams Campus, check-in at Engel Hall. Click here for CGCC maps.
