Submit your Reflection As you reflect upon your time at CGCC, who would you like to thank for contributing to your educational success?
|
I would like to thank my very supporting wife Mindy, who is always willing to accommodate my school schedule even under the most difficult circumstances. Without her, I would not be able to accomplish my educational goals. After all, it is because of her I am here with a degree. I love you. I would also like to thank my father in-law Stuart, who has been very encouraging and supporting through out my long process of getting a degree. Although this is just the beginning of my educational endeavors, I am certain he will be there to show support in every way. Thank you to both.

I would like to thank my advisor for helping me through my semesters and one of my math teachers Wayne Gautreau for teaching us the value of life as well as math.

I would like to start by thanking my fiance Tara Gill. Tara's support allowed me the opportunity to get back into school starting in the fall of 2010. Her continued support over these past couple of years has been instrumental in my success. I also want to thank all of my teachers for making me realize my own potential. My immediate family has also been extremely supportive of my decision to further my education. A few additional people I would like to personally thank are as follows: Dr Roy Schiesser, Elijah Swift, Roberta Pardo, Patrick Williams, Benjamin Kamper, Anthony Braaten, Diane Travers Shipman, Shirley Miller, and finally Dr. Linda Lujan. All have all been an inspiration to me during these past two years. All will be greatly missed.

I would personally like to thank Professor Adams, Professor Reider, Professor Kutzke, and Professor Annis for contributing to my educational success. They made class fun, interesting, and made learning easy! Thank you so much!

I would like to thank my son, Corey Milstein, my heart and soul, for being my inspiration and encouragement. And Rob Murphy for his support over this last year.

Please share with us a favorite memory from your time at CGCC. |
Chemistry class with Don Mittendorf was clearly the time best spent at CGCC. Mr. Mittendorf was hilarious and made sure we all had fun while learning the material. I was impressed to see that none of his students dropped the class, something I had never seen before.

My favorite memory was meeting new people

My favorite memory was my very first day at the college, which was both exciting and nerve racking. Trying to adjust to a new environment with all new students and teachers was a minor hurdle. I quickly adjusted to the lifestyle and felt right at home here at CGCC. I will take all of the experiences both in and out of the classroom with me for the rest of my life.

One of my favorite memories was when we made masks of our real faces, and decorated them in my Psych of Gender class and then listening to my fellow classmates tell their stories of what their masks meant to them! It truly let you see into the depths of their soul.

One of my favorite memories is hanging out in the hallway for two hours with a bunch of classmates. It gave me something to look forward to before classes.

There are too many to name.
