Application/Program Specific Scholarships

The scholarships listed in this section require a separate application and some are program specific. Please follow the instructions in the "To Apply" section by each scholarship description. Also, note the deadline date for each scholarship as they do vary. Adobe Acrobate Reader is needed in order to open the applications. 2010 All USA and Coca-Cola All State Academic Team

Applicant must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA in all college level coursework completed in the last five years, be currently enrolled at CGCC now through December 2009, and be on track to obtain an Associate or Bachelor degree. Applicants must have at least 36 semester credits completed by December 31, 2009 and be on track to complete at least 48 by August 31, 2010. Qualified applicants will have a strong background in campus and community activities.

To apply: For additional eligibility requirements and an application packet, please contact the CGCC Financial Aid Office in person. Deadline date to apply is November 9, 2009.

2009-10 Bates/Stamp Aviation Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and an Arizona resident. In addition, applicant must be a third semester student in the CGCC AMT Program and have a 3.0 minimum GPA.

To apply: Must complete the Bates/Stamp Aviation Memorial Scholarship Application by January 29, 2010.

Maria L. Hesse Service and Leadership Scholarship

The Maria L. Hesse Service and Leadership Scholarship, endowed by CGCC's second president, is awaded to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service to the college and/or the community. Applicants must have completed at least six credit hours at CGCC and be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at CGCC.

To apply: Must completed the Maria L. Hesse Service and Leadership Scholarship Application by November 19, 2009.

Craig Lougee AMT Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in CGCC's Aviation Maintenance Technology Program and be in the fifth semester of the AMT program. The WEC Scholarship Committee selects recipient.

To apply: Must complete Craig Lougee Memorial Scholarship Application by January 29, 2010.

Williams Heritage Scholarship Application

Applicant must be enrolled in CGCC's Airway Science Technology, flight emphasis, program. In addition, applicant must be enrolled in AET230 or AET240 for the semester awarded, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, and be making continued progress towards completion of the program. The WEC Scholarship Committee selects recipient.
