Hoop of Learning

The Hoop of Learning program is designed to provide educational opportunities for Native American students in high school grades 9 through 12 to earn college credits.

   Goals & Objectives

  • The Native American Indian students will attend both high school and college.
  • Class choices will meet Native American Indian high school students needs to prepare them to enter college.
  • Native American Indian students will havethe option to complete 6 credits during the Fall and Spring semester of each year.
  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College will work to provide tutoring, student services support, and learning assistance for all participants.

   Benefits

  • Students will be awarded a scholarship for tuition and fees.
  • Students can begin to earn credits while still in high school.
