Chandler-Gilbert Community College Model United Nations Program Overview

Model United Nations at Chandler-Gilbert is an academic program and organization designed to explore, evaluate, and debate real-life international issues which are presented to the actual United Nations and its associate bodies.  Through this simulation program, students practice research skills, develop a greater understanding of the global issues, prepare policy statements and resolutions, and present these statements in simulated UN committees.  This program is a unique opportunity to for CGCC students to illustrate the multiplicity of global issues and how nations deal with these issues through simulation of the various UN committees.
