The Coyote Women’s Basketball wrapped up their 2012-13 season winning their last four games and finishing the season with a 10-19 record coming up short of a playoff birth by one game.  Lady Coyote freshman Celeste Claw earned third team “All Conference” and second team “All Region honors.

The Spring Season has kicked off this year and CGCC teams are off to a good start.  Freshman golfer Jordan Gerard finished in first place to bring home “Medalist Honors” at the Tiffany & Bosco Invitational Golf Tournament at the Legacy Golf Resort February 18th and 19th.  Jordan led the Coyote golfers to a fifth place finish in the nine team field. Gerard posted scores of 65 and 73 to win by one stroke in a field of 54 collegiate golfers. This was the second Coyote golfer to win medalist honors in CGCC history.

The Women’s Golf Team placed 3^rd at the Pima Community College Invitational at the Silverbell Golf Resort in Tucson, AZ on February 25 and 26.

The Baseball season has begun and has played a total of 21 games.  Their overall record so far is 10-11.  . The Coyotes are busy playing multiple games during the week of March 11-16 at home. We hope to see a good crowd this week cheering the Coyotes to victory!

The Softball Team has kicked off their season with new Head Coach Shelby Davis. Team is getting stronger every day and is looking good. Their record is 5-15 so far. The team has been competitive and lost several heartbreaker games and is looking forward to a strong second half.  Go Coyotes!
