Wireless Access - Mac Laptops
1. Select Wi-Fi icon on top right and select “mcccd-org” network
2. Input your MEID and Password when prompted.
3. Make sure computer is connected proper network, select Wi-Fi on top right corner
and verify there is a check mark next to “mcccd-org”.
4. Open up Safari and make sure you are connected to the internet.
Wi-Fi Troubleshooting
If user has OS 10.5 and having a problem connecting to the "mcccd-org" wireless network, try these steps:
1. Go to the menu bar and click on airport menu and select "mcccd-org"
2. Which results in this, click "Show Certificate"
3. Then it will ask you to verify the certificate, check the box "Always trust" and click "Continue"
4.
Go to the menu bar and click on airport menu and select "Open Network Preferences".
5. Click "Advanced"
6. Click "802.1X" tab.
7. Make sure user name has MEID and password. Check the "PEAP" and click OK.
Then click the red X in the top left corner to close the Network window.
