Who may use the Computer Lab?
The Chandler-Gilbert Computer Lab is open to all students currently* enrolled at CGCC. Students may use the computer lab to work on assignments, gather information for courses, register for courses, and complete self-paced courses
Equipment
IBM and Macintosh computers area available, in addition to three scanners. Two ADA compliant workstations are available with the following ADA software: Dragon Naturally Speaking, 6.0 Accessible Graphing Calculator, Omnipage Pro, Jaws 4.0, and Zoom Text Xtra Level 2.
Software
Software available includes Office Suite 2007, Photoshop, C++ and many more. There is also a variety of course-related software for science, mathematics, business, technology, languages, the arts, and other classes. Some software is not available at all stations; please see a technician if you cannot locate your software.
Personal Laptops

Class Reservations
Instructors must reserve Bradshaw Hall Room 123A or a bank of computers prior to bringing a class into the Computer Lab. Reservations for rooms can be made months in advance for specific times, by using R25 or through your department secretary. Five to seven days is the minimum suggested time frame. It is expected that the class be accompanied by their instructor for the entire lab time. Call 480-732-7221 or visit the Computer Lab to make your reservation for a bank of computers in the main lab BRD123.
Individual Reservations
Individuals may reserve a Mac workstation for a limited number of hours. In the event of a conflict regarding the Mac computers (a prior class reservation), the lab staff will attempt to accommodate the impacted student(s) in C108.
Self-Paced Classes
In addition to the standard structured classes in computer usage, classes are also offered as
self-paced.
