Chandler-Gilbert Community College will host "Corridos With Feedback: The Fiction of Michael Jaime-Becerra," on Wednesday, October 8, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the college's Pecos Campus.

Jaime-Becerra will give a reading of his work at this free event. Jaime-Becerra is the author of the story collection Every Night Is Ladies Night, winner of the 2005 California Book Award for First Fiction, and was named a 2004 Notable Book of the Year by both The Washington Post Bookworld and The San Francisco Chronicle.
