Betty Adams serves as the Interim Associate Dean for Finance
and Business Services. She began her appointment at CGCC in July 2011.

Betty’s experience in higher education administration includes 16 years at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where she held numerous increasingly responsible administrative positions. Prior to joining CGCC, Betty also held positions at Maricopa County. The highlights of her career at Maricopa County include serving as the Director of Correctional Health Services, where she managed more than 400 employees and an annual budget of over $50 million.

Betty earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Management and her Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
