MARIA REYES
Maria comes to CGCC from Estrella Mountain Community College where she served as Associate Dean of Occupational Education. Maria’s experience includes administration of allied health, emergency medical technician, and logistics management programs at EMCC’s Southwest Skill Center. She also managed EMCC’s US Department of Education Title V developing Hispanic Serving Institutions program, as well as NASA, Carl Perkins, and Proposition 301 grants. Prior to her appointment at EMCC, Maria directed the Office of Minority Engineering Programs at ASU. She has taught introductory engineering classes at ASU and EMCC.
Maria’s educational background includes bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering from ASU and a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard. She recently completed Maricopa’s Leadership Advancement Program and is active in the Women’s Leadership Group.
