Public Talk with Q & A: Eli Pariser Pioneering online organizer Eli Pariser is the author of The Filter Bubble, a text which discusses how personalized internet searches might be narrowing our worldview. In 2004, Pariser became executive director of MoveOn.org. He is the co-founder of Upworthy.com—“social media with a mission to make important stuff as viral as a video of some idiot surfing off his roof.” He is currently a fellow at the Roosevelt Institute.
