Endowments are gifts to the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation created by the donor as a
perpetual source of funding support for student scholarship, program support or other designated purpose that fall within the Foundations’ mission. Once endowed, generally at $10,000, these funds are
awarded as a percentage of the investment income maintaining the principle.
The Lois M. Bartholomew Emergency Scholarship Fund (5083) endowed by CGCC's first Vice President of Student Affairs, to be awarded to students faced with unforeseeable emergency needs.
Bertram A. Day Memorial Scholarship (5261) for students studying history, political science, communication and journalism.
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Scholarship (5269) awarded to students who are individuals or allies of the LGBT community.
Rudibaugh-Campbell Nursing Scholarship Fund (5274) awarded to students in nursing.
The Arnette S. Ward General Scholarship Fund (5324) named after CGCC's founding president, to be awarded to students who excel in each academic division.
Fred Speier Memorial Scholarship (5408) awarded to students in mathematics.
Harvey Stone, Jim David and Jim Ahl Scholarship (5421) Awarded to qualified students in the field of Aviation
Management, Administration & Technology Fund (MAT) (5439) - Awarded to students or employees who are experiencing difficult circumstances
The Maria L. Hesse Service and Leadership Scholarship Fund (5446) endowed by CGCC's second president, to be awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service to the college and the community.
Luella Kallie Memorial Scholarship (5487) awarded in memory of a longtime Maricopa Community College employee to students in Performing Arts.
