CGCC Awarded Portion of $13.4 Million Grant

U.S.Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis announced $500 million in grants to community colleges and universities around the country for the development and expansion of innovative training programs.

Led by Estrella Mountain Community College, the Arizona Sun Corridor Get Into Energy Consortium initiative was awarded a $13.4 million grant as part of the announcement. The grant will be shared with consortium members Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Northland Pioneer College, Pima Community College, and Yavapai College Prescott.

ALL-Arizona/ALL-USA Academic Team Scholarship

Apply now for the All-Arizona Scholarship. This scholarship offers two years of tuition at any of the in-state public universities.

What it Means to be a Team Member
CGCC will choose the top two students from each of the Pecos and Williams campuses, to be the official All-CGCC Academic Team and receive a CGCC scholarship for 2012-2013. They will also be named to the All-Arizona Academic Team and receive special recognition including a medallion, a certificate, and a scholarship to one of the three Arizona public universities (NAU, ASU and U of A). The All-Arizona team members will then be nominated to the National All-USA Academic Team to be eligible for further scholarships.
