Explosions 


If this type of emergency occurs:

  • Evacuate immediately, if possible.
  • Remove seriously injured persons when they are in immediate danger from subsequent fire or explosion.
  • If unable to evacuate, prepare for further explosions by seeking cover.
  • Do not turn on / off or use any type of phone or electronic device in the affected area.
  • Do not turn on / off lights in the affected area.
  • Do not allow the use of matches or lighters in the affected area.
  • Notify Public Safety at 480-732-7280 (Pecos) or 480-988-8888 (Williams) or 911 from an unaffected area.
  • Proceed to an assembly area at least 500 feet upwind from the situation.
  • Open doors carefully and watch for falling objects.
  • Wait for additional information from safety personnel.
