If this type of emergency occurs in work area or classroom:

• Leave the building or classroom immediately via the posted evacuation routes.
• Do not use the elevator.
• Evacuate via the stairs.
• Assist any disabled people to the designated rescue assistance area or to a landing of a multi-floor building and notify Public Safety at 480-732-7280 (Pecos) or 480-988-8888 (Williams).
• Shut all doors behind you.
• Leave the doors unlocked.
• Check restrooms in the area.
• Proceed to an assembly area at least 500 feet upwind from the situation.
• Account for all personnel or students at the assembly area.
• Wait for additional information from safety personnel.
• Designated building safety coordinators will be on site to assist with evacuation.
