Emergency Procedure Guide

INTRODUCTION

As an institution we are committed to emergency incident education, preparation and management. Accordingly, we have developed this Emergency Procedures Guide, which addresses a wide variety of potential emergency situations and suggested procedures for negotiating each. We encourage each employee to review these procedures periodically and to become familiar with the more applicable ones.

The ultimate success of our campus safety efforts depends largely on the preparedness and response of our employees. In any emergency remember to observe the following:

  • Remain calm.
  • Summon co-workers or bystanders to assist.
  • Call Public Safety at 480-732-7280 (Pecos) or 480-988-8888 (Williams), and 911 if necessary.
  • Proceed alertly and with extreme caution.
  • Provide incident documentation as requested.

Working cooperatively we can minimize the threat to life and property resulting from emergency situations.

Please contact our office if we can be of assistance:  Public Safety Department, 480-732-7280 (Pecos) or 480-988-8888 (Williams).
