Building Safety Coordinators

Emergency Response Team (ERT) members will manage building evacuation activities. The ERT must immediately notify the Public Safety Office if individuals are trapped or if individuals - known to be present at the time of the event - cannot be located. The ERT should stay with his/her group and designate a responsible person to relay information to the Emergency Operations Center. The ERT will instruct everyone to stay calm and remain at the assembly point until the Operations Officer or Public Safety Officer provides further instruction.
