Institutional Research and Development

Who We Are...

The Institutional Research and Development Office supports the Chandler-Gilbert Community College Mission and Goals. Our office provides research assistance to all CGCC employee divisions through the collection, analyzing and dissemination of information that is used to improve the quality of education and student services to ensure student success.

Our Mission

The mission of the Institutional Research and Development Office is to coordinate and contribute to the development and implementation of the institutional effectiveness and continuous improvement process; providing administrative support to the Student Outcomes Assessment Committee; providing appropriate research support to faculty and staff to improve the delivery of products and services.

Our goals are to:

  • Develop, track and respond to key indicators to enhance data informed decision making
  • Expand comparative benchmark studies with peer and aspirational institutions to improve institutional effectiveness
  • Expand data-informed student learning outcome assessment
