Add whole life development item to an upcoming EDT meeting agenda No action Tom: Invite Jessica to next EDT meeting (last half of meeting) Jessica attended meeting and was given a basic list of criteria for development of the e-certificate. Certificate is to include: 1. 8 Different icons representing each value (learning, community engagement, excellence, innovation, collaboration, communication, integrity and diversity 2. CGCC logo Barbara: Locate and reserve rooms for upcoming EDT meetings No report from Barbara action item continued Trina: Locate information on acrylic stands for nomination forms (cost/style/supplier) Possible literature holders were presented. One was selected and will be ordered. It was determined that we will need 12 total (for all 3 sites) They will be ordered on July 1 and EDT will review and approve the paper nomination form next meeting. Sandi: Meet and provide Chuck with minutes specific to the content of marketing the Rewards and Recognition program All: Determine CGCCs specific Navigate Maricopa stamp criteria No resolution, but a suggestion that our stamp be related to the Faculty Development Global Theme project outlined below. October 2005: Set EDTs spring 2006 meeting schedule No action action item continued SEE Your World Chris Schnick presented the Faculty Development Teams Fall 2005 global theme SEE Your World. FDT would like to see EDT sponsor a project or event relating to this theme. This theme is about engaging students and the college community in awareness of global issues with special focus on those issues which are social, economic and environmental. EDT is excited about this agenda and committed to a community engagement event during Fall 05 (possibly during the month of October and relating to domestic violence. Sandi suggested that a Navigate Maricopa stamp could evolve out of this project. Wrap-Up Jessica will have a template by the June 30 meeting. She will use the distribution list to send out any questions or clarifications she may need. We hope to have the program ready to unveil by August 15. Chuck would like to begin his advertising teasers by the beginning of July. These teasers will most likely be in the form of a combination of email and flyers. EDT To-Do-List: Need Training/Workshop Calendar on Website Need to obtain College training schedules (From IT and Faculty Development) Add map of nomination form locations to the website. Begin developing marketing program for Fall classes Begin discussions on possible SEE Your World project Ground Rules: 1. Start on time; end on time 2. Everyone has a voice in the process 3. Permission to disagree agreeably 4. Stay focused on task 5. One speaker at a time; behave professionally and use good manners 6. Listen to understand Instant Recognition-The group will need to focus on making a decision on the e-certificate design. It has been agreed that the certificates will be similar in style but should differentiate in color and perhaps a symbol which would represent each of the core values. STARS student Jessica Jimenez will be invited by Tom Foster to attend the last half of EDTs next meeting. It was agreed that the EDT group will need to come up with a decision during the first half of the meeting to benefit Jessicas understanding of our needs. Chuck Reinebold will need any materials we have available. Once the additional resources are provided, he will review and come up with some ideas. Sandi has agreed to locate relevant materials and meet with Chuck to review. EDT Brand & Marketing-Chuck will be working on ideas to promote the rewards and recognition program as well as marketing the separate courses EDT is arranging with EOLT, pending receipt of additional information such as program details, course descriptions, etc. NEXT MEETING: Thursday, June 30 2:00 pm 4:00 pm Location: A162
