Listen to understand Maricopa Trainer Program-is a comprehensive program for training curriculum which is modularized and offered through the Technology Program. It was developed for the new PeopleSoft rollout and it is by invitation as of this date. Instant Recognition-The nomination form edits, minor edits to the instant recognition program descriptors and website work were being worked on by Barbara Green. An e-mail was sent to Barbara inquiring as to the status of the edits to be used for the upcoming PEC meeting and Margie and Brent are awaiting her response. Sherri Basha met with Audree Thurman on how to store and retrieve reward & recognition information. It will be necessary to determine what type of information we would like to be able to retrieve, what should be accessible to the public, and what should be restricted. While PeopleSoft has the feature of tracking classes, there are some problematic areas to consider. Some of the concerns would be that we may not have access of tracking the types of achievements our program may include for acknowledgement, there may also be limited availability in generating reports conducive to our rewards program, or we may run into accessibility issues. Sherri recommends that we invite Aud to attend an EDT meeting once we have agreed upon a more definitive plan for rewards. It was agreed to invite Aud to attend a future meeting. Preliminary thoughts for setting this up electronically would consist of two (2) components, a web interface and the backside which would include employee information to include a database, reports, and certificates. All of the data is built on Access. A rough diagram made by Emily W. was given to Sherri B. as a resource for future suggestions for the technology team. The 02/04/05 PEC presentation was reviewed with the group. Suggestions were accepted and a final draft of the presentation will be prepared and printed.
