Brent noted that the following WIGS were identified: June of 2006, 3 WIGS were identified: - Facilitate and sponsor EOLT classes - Core values (emphasis and focus) - Increase EDT membership June of 2007, 3 WIGS were identified: - Revitalize the Keystone Award - Next wave of Rewards and Recognition - Identify and sponsor morale building events It was noted that we need to focus our efforts on the next wave of Rewards and Recognition. A suggestion was made to bring in a paid professional to help with the direction and a focused plan that we could follow. It was also suggested that an increase in EDT membership would be beneficial. Organizing a separate team to work on the next wave of R&R was also proposed as a possibility. Another suggestion was that we could incorporate the Rewards and Recognition, our Core Values and the new Customer Service Initiative. It was decided that 3 priorities would be addressed: - Vitalize the Keystone Award - Begin construction of the next wave of Rewards and Recognition - Identify and sponsor morale building activities/events EDT needs to increase the number of Keystone Awardees. Currently the team has no prizes to give the quarterly drawing winner. A proposal and excel spreadsheet for tracking and awarding of prizes will be created and it will be presented to Mark Mason (?) for consideration. It was also agreed that the members of the team would each nominate a fellow employee or two for a Keystone Award prior to our March meeting 3) A discussion of Morale Building Events was discussed. Many ideas were suggested: March Madness, Jersey Day, St. Patricks Day, Spring Training Day, Department Decorating Contests, Smoothie Day, Popcorn Day, Snow Cone Day, a Green Initiative, etc. It was decided that the team would regroup in two weeks for further discussion of morale building and each member should think of three ideas for consideration. End of Meeting. NEXT MEETING: 2/25/08 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in B111
