American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment 

As part of Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, the college was a charter signatory to the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment.

By signing the commitment, CGCC has pledged to eliminate or offset all campus greenhouse gas emissions over time, and in the process, lead the transition to a sustainable economy.
