Mission
The mission of the CGCC College Business Services Office is to provide a general framework for strategic and budgetary planning; to facilitate communication and coordination of the annual budget development cycle; provide financial information to college administrators and the college community; assist in the allocation of limited financial resources; manage the operational budgets for the institution and evaluate the utilization and performance of these resources. In doing so, continue to find ways to support fulfillment of the CGCC Vision and Mission and create value for CGCC students.
Objectives

Ensure alignment with the MCCD Strategic Plan and Governing Board Initiatives.

Align the allocation of resources with the CGCC Strategic Plan 2007-2012.

Provide budgetary information to support decision-making.

Develop a financial plan to provide a guiding framework for institutional operations.

Develop strategies to support CGCC programs, services, and activities.

Partner with the college community to help college leaders make better decisions in the utilization of college resources and in the containment of operational costs.
