Wireless Registration And Configuration
Step 1 - Install your wireless card
Your laptop or PDA may have either an internal wireless card or one that can be inserted through a PCMCIA slot. To install your wireless card follow the manufacturer's installation instructions for your wireless card. This may include installing drivers provided with your card.
Step 2 - Locate your wireless card's MAC address
To locate your wireless card's MAC address, follow these instructions
Record the wireless card's MAC address.
Step 3 - Register your wireless card
To register, go to this site: https://ac.cgc.maricopa.edu/wirelessreg/
If you are prompted to accept a certificate, choose Yes.
A window will appear prompting you to enter your MEID username and password.
Once your username and password are validated by the system, you will be taken to a new web page.
Enter the recorded MAC address, and a descriptive label if you choose, and click the Submit button.
NOTE: When entering the MAC Address use letters and numbers only!

Step 4 - Configure your wireless card
Your wireless card should come with documentation about configuring a network for your wireless network card. We cannot give specific details, because each wireless network card will have different instructions.

Step 5 - Create a network workspace
If you have a Windows XP laptop follow these instructions to access your workspace.
