Mac OS-X 10.5.x Instructions
Mac OS-X Leopard came with some new changes to how VPN is set up. Below are the instructions for configuring VPN on OS-X Leopard.
1) Click on the Apple menu on the top-left and go to "System Preferences"
2) Choose "Network" in the lower left
3) Click on the "Plus" + button on the bottom left corner
4) In the options box that pops up choose "VPN" in the first dropdown box
5) Now choose PPTP in the second dropdown box
6) Now change the name to "CGC" in the third box and press "Create"
7) In the new options that appear in the main window fill in the following options:
- In Server Address put in vpn2.cgc.maricopa.edu
- In Account Name type in your MEID username
- Checkmark the "Show VPN status in menu bar" at the bottom
8) Press "Apply" in the lower right corner of the window.
9) Press "Connect". You should now be good to go! To access it in the future click on the little black ridged box in the top right corner of your mac and choose "Connect CGC"
