Password Change Instructions

Password Change/Expiration Instructions

Passwords expire after 120 days (4 months).
Passwords are case sensitive. Capitalize the appropriate letter(s) by using the Shift key.
You can't change your password to a previous password.

MEID Account

Personal Admin Tool (PAT)
This following accounts all use the same password, changing your MEID password will change the passwords for all of the following applications:

MEMO
Calendar
Blackboard
HRMS
MEID
Campus Computer Access
Web Publishing/Portal
VPN
Grade reporting systems (Athletics, DSR)
All applications running on CGCC servers

To change your Email password, enter the Personal Admin Tool (PAT) and click on "My Profile". If you have lost/forgotten your password, or it has expired, you can reset your Email password by completing the Password Reset Utility Form .

MEMO Email passwords must be at least 7 characters in length, and consist of at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one number.

How to change your Calendar Offline password to match your new MEMO password .

If the Help Desk changed your password, it is temporary and will expire in five (5) days. In order for it to expire in 120 days, the password must be changed either in the PAT Tool or by completing the Password Reset Utility Form.

Forgot your Password

If you can't remember your password for your email accounts, please use the email password reset form above. If you are unsure of your MEID you can find it on a link in the reset form on the left. If you are still unsure of any part of it, feel free to call the Help Desk at 732-7025 and we'll be happy to help reset your password. The Help Desk does not have a record of any current passwords however.
