Program Mission

CGCC's Teacher Education Program's mission is to respond positively to changing needs of the education profession and community at large, to instill academic competency and professionalism, and to prepare "highly qualified"* transfer students, future students and educational professionals. The program invites innovation in teaching and learning, collaboration and partnerships, professional awareness, real-life engagement in education and civic responsibility.
