CGCC, along with participating MCCCD colleges, is now offering two Associates degrees for students interested in Fire Service careers. The Associate in Applied Science degree in
Fire Science Technology is designed for students pursuing a career in the Fire Service, and the Associate in Applied Science degree in Emergency Response and Operations for those students already in the Fire or EMS service. CGCC is also participating in the development of certificate programs for Fire Engineer and Fire Captain that will follow the ERO degree.
