Pecos Fitness Center

The Fitness Center, housed inside the CGCC Physical Education Center, is dedicated to providing an atmosphere of optimal fitness and recreation opportunities for students, those working on or around the campus, campus employees and community members from the neighborhoods bordering the Williams Campus. Degreed exercise science professionals staff the Fitness Center. Our instructors hold undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise Science and Wellness and are trained to assist individuals with various clinical conditions and are available to answer questions.

Each student will receive an orientation, a personal fitness assessment, and individualized workout program, and continuing advice to enhance students' workout regimens. All students must be enrolled in a NC500 (noncredit) or a PED (credit) fitness center course and must complete a fitness assessment to use the Fitness Center. Students may be required to obtain a physician's consent if medical risk factors exist. A valid student ID card is needed for accesss.
