The mission of the Nursing Department is to provide a learner-centered educational environment that supports the mission of the MaricopaNursing and provides pre-requisite and required health care courses preparing future providers of healthcare.

The Nursing Division will:
- Facilitate educational opportunities in a learner-centered environment.
- Be responsive to student concerns and issues regarding the learning environment.
- Be supportive of faculty needs for continuing education to remain clinically up-to-date.
- Promote innovative teaching/learning strategies that enhance MaricopaNursing curriculum and reflect current health care practice.
