NEWSPAPERS
Newspapers can have a local, regional, or national focus. Very current information as well as older archived information may be found here. Newspapers are good sources for researching the past. They provide us with a perspective of the past that other sources may not have. Longer feature articles and investigative reports from some of the countries’ leading newspapers offer excellent information. Editorials are the newspapers’ opinion page and may be useful for finding perspectives on issues. While excellent information can be obtained from newspapers, it is important to remember that they are just a part of creating a well rounded source list and should be used in combination with other sources.
Some examples are the Arizona Republic, New York Times, and The Washington Post.
