This U.S. Department of Health & Human Services agency is the lead Federal agency charged with improving the quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care for all Americans.

ClinicalTrials.gov
ClinicalTrials.gov is a registry and results database of federally and privately supported clinical trials conducted in the United States and around the world. ClinicalTrials.gov gives you information about a trial's purpose, who may participate, locations, and phone numbers for more details.

Health Data Warehouse
Center for Disease Control and Prevention health topic data and statistics reports.

HealthCare.gov
This site contains Affordable Care Act information and health insurance coverage options.

National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine
The NCCAM is the Federal Government's lead agency for scientific research on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM).

National Guideline Clearinghouse
Also from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, the NGC is a public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines.

National Institutes of Health
An agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the NIH is the Federal focal point for health research. The NIH website offers health information for the public as well as medical professionals.

PubMed
Access to MEDLINE, the world’s most extensive listing of medical journal articles. PubMed contains more than 21 million citations for biomedical literature. Citations may include links to free full-text content from PubMed Central.

TOXNET
Toxicology, environmental health, and chemical databases and other information resources from the Toxicology and Environmental Health Information Program, National Library of Medicine, and the National Institutes of Health.

An online medical library complete with sections, symptoms and disease subject index.

DailyMed
The DailyMed is an NLM website that provides high quality information about marketed drugs. Includes labeling as found in medication package inserts.

DosageHelp.com
This website provides a dosage calculations tutorial, complete with explanations and examples, to help nursing students prepare for a medication exam.

Drug Information Portal
The NLM Drug Information Portal gives users a gateway to drug information from the National Library of Medicine and other key government agencies.  More than 17,000 drugs can be searched. Includes clinical trial and scientific journal citations.

Professional Nursing Organizations

American Nursing Association
The ANA is involved in establishing standards of nursing practice, promoting the rights of nurses in the workplace, and advancing the economic and general welfare of nurses.

Arizona State Board of Nursing
The State Board of Nursing assures that standards of practice are met and that persons engaged in the practice of nursing are competent.

National Student Nurses Association
The NSNA is dedicated to fostering the professional development of nursing students.
