  • Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations
    Working to alleviate poverty and hunger by promoting agricultural development, improved nutrition, and the pursuit of food security internationally.

  • Oxfam
    International group of independent non-governmental organizations who work together to make an impact on hunger, poverty, and injustice world-wide. The  Trade Campaign site offers research, reports, and policy papers on global fair trade issues.

  • World Bank
    A development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, and technical assistance to low income countries to reduce poverty. Provides country briefs that include current development projects, poverty data, and development indicators.

  • Worldwatch Institute
    Analyzes interdisciplinary environmental data from around the world, providing
    information on how to build a sustainable society. The research library for comprehensive information on the wide range of environmental topics including urbanization, climate change, biodiversity, natural disasters, pollutions, and sustainable economics.
