All collected interviews are permanently housed in the Chandler Museum (480) 782-2717.    Vietnam War Era  Lari Braun: Interviewed by Byanca Nelson  Lari was born in 1951, grew up in Minnesota, and enlisted in the Air Force in 1969 at the age of 18. She trained in Texas and became one of the first women to work as a bioenvironmental engineering specialist. She served two tours of duty in the U.S., Turkey and Germany, and Williams Air Force Base from 1974-1975 and 1977-1979. She is a CMSgt Retired from the Air Force. She came to Arizona in 1999.           Linda Fulkerson: Interviewed by Jessica Ethington           Linda was born in Pennsylvania and enlisted in the Navy in Idaho in 1970. She served until 1978. She was an air traffic controller, worked in administration, and as a paralegal for several important military cases. She came to Arizona in 1997.        Judith Mente: Interviewed by Kyle Schneider  Judith was born in Illinois and enlisted in the Air Force in 1961. She became a medic after training in Texas, and since women couldn't go out of the U.S., she worked as a nurse at Eglin Air Force Base, from 1961-1965. She now lives in Sun Lakes.       Shirley McCoy Vega: Interviewed by Delia Gallegos  Shirley was born in Kansas in 1946. She served in the Army from 1965 to 1968. Shirley worked as a legal stenographer for the Staff Judge Advocate (JAG) at 5th Army ARADCOM at Fort Sheridan, IL. She also worked as a legal stenographer and legal cleark for the Staff Judge Advocate (JAG), XVIII Airborne Corps at Fort Bragg, NC. She came to Arizona in 1985.                      Joyce McCollum: Interviewed by Josh Lavis  Joyce was born in Washington in 1940. She enlisted in the Army in 1960 and served nearly 12 years. Then she left active duty and joined the Army Reserve. She served in the Reserve for 9 years, which made her eligible for retirement. She retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-7).
