In support of the college's Strategic Goal to advance global learning and sustainability at CGCC, sustainability is integrated across all academic disciplines using a campus-wide theme of SEE Your World which focuses on the social, environmental and economic concerns of our local community and of the world. 

The Sustainability & Ecological Literacy Certificate is designed for students seeking an Associate in Arts Degree and planning to transfer to a four-year college or university in liberal arts, social sciences, or business.  The program enhances students’ understanding of sustainable living practices associated with economics, equity and the environment through a combination of coursework and experiential learning.
