The Faculty Development Team coordinates, facilitates, and sponsors opportunities for faculty with emphasis on specifically identified initiatives and areas of focus. The team supports learning, encourages faculty collaboration, and creates a climate that encourages and rewards instructional innovation.

The faculty development team's mission and work is directly related to CGCC's college

vision, mission, and strategic goals;

college goals for 2007-2009; and

instructional philosophy.
