This Grant takes approximately 1 month after you apply.

Start the process by attending a Career Center Orientation. Visit
Maricopa Workforce Connections, click "Locations" to find the Career Center nearest you. You may be eligible for WIA training assistance; Center Orientations will provide an overview of eligibility and explain the process of accessing Center services.

P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education

This Grant takes 4 months after you have applied.
The P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education provides grants to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to resume studies due to changing demands in their lives. There must be a need for financial assistance with their educational expenses to improve their marketable skills. This is a one-time grant with a maximum of $2,000. Lesser amounts may be awarded.

A woman is eligible to apply if she:

1. is sponsored by a P.E.O. chapter;
2. is a citizen of the United States or Canada
3. is studying in the United States or Canada
4. has had at least 24 consecutive months as a nonstudent sometime in her adult life
5. is within 24 consecutive months of completing her educational goal
6. is not enrolled in doctoral degree program e.g. educational, law,
medical or clinical

1. Register for class 2. Fill out Application Form and Income and Expense Statement Form.

The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona is a non-profit organization under the IRS Code 501 (c)(3) whose purpose is to assist those people who qualify under Arizona law to obtain financial assistance to further their vocational studies.

As a potential applicant for a Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona grant, you must need to know several things. To be considered for a grant, you must:

  • meet certain financial needs
  • seek training in a qualifying vocational area
  • be a legal resident of the state of Arizona (see criteria for determining residency)
  • be at a school in Arizona
  • be sponsored by a Rotary Club in Arizona or Needles, California

  This loan takes 10 days after you return additional forms.

Loan request must be for $1,000.00 or more. 1. Register for class. 2. Fill out Application Form. Fax form to CCI 1.973.256.3879.

Students will know within 48 hours whether they are eligible to apply. Additional forms will be sent to the student and they must be returned to receive the loan. A check will be sent to Chandler-Gilbert Community College for tuition and fees for class. Additional funds requested will be sent directly to student.
