We're here to boost your success in college!

Counseling faculty teach Career and Personal Development (CPD) courses, and provide classroom presentations and workshops. They offer individual appointments and coordinate instructional programs to assist students in developing skills and knowledge to manage the demands of college and daily life. Counseling faculty also co-coordinate student support efforts with faculty and instructional support services. This includes partnering with English, Reading and Wellness faculty in learning communities where students learn college study skills and personal development options. They also work closely with mathematics instructors and students to reduce math and test anxiety. Any student can request counseling faculty support to assist them with their academic concerns, struggles or progress. Instructors are also encouraged to refer students for student skills and adjustment strategies.
