Chandler-Gilbert Community College offers a variety of online courses. Each online class is different depending upon the subject, instructor, and area of instruction. At Chandler-Gilbert, the college uses the Blackboard Learning Management System to offer their online courses in an environment that is standardized for ease of use. If you have signed up for an online course, your class is most likely in the Blackboard system.
Students use their MEID and MEID password to log into Blackboard. However, your course may not appear in your course list until the first day of classes. It is your responsibility to log into Blackboard on the first day of classes. Check your class schedule in My Maricopa to verify the first day of your class. The Blackboard system uses your Maricopa email by default. If an instructor has sent a message to the class about the course, it will be sent to the email that is used as the default by the Blackboard system, or it will appear as an announcement in the course. In addition to Blackboard, Business students will be using MyITLab.
