More devices on the Wireless Network

Starting in the fall 2011 semester, students may have more than one device on the wireless network. Add your phone and your laptop.

Your Computer Login has CHANGED to your MEID

On Friday, May 20, Chandler-Gilbert upgraded its network infrastructure.  During this process we converted computer login usernames and passwords at Chandler-Gilbert Community College to the District issued MEID and passwords.  No more will there be a need for a separate computer and MEID login, as both of them will now be one and the same. In addition, your Pay2Print account information will now also be your MEID and password.

Starting, Monday, May 23rd, you will use your MEID and MEID password to log on to the computers.  Your old computer login will no longer work at this point, and you will use only your MEID username and password to log on to any and every computer system.  This also includes any servers, network workspaces, and websites hosted by Chandler-Gilbert.

Consequently, you will now only need to maintain a single password as well, that being your MEID password.  The rules for this will stay the same: at least 8 characters long with at least 1 capital letter, at least 1 lower cased letter, and at least 1 number. 

If you are unsure of your password (or indeed your MEID), you can choose navigation on left to go to MyMaricopa and discover your MEID.  This will ask some basic confirmation information, after which it will tell you your MEID and allow you to reset your password. You cannot recover a password; you can only reset a password using your challenge questions.  Conversely, once the migration is complete you will have the ability to reset your password at the ctrl-alt-del logon screen if you know your challenge questions.
