Auditions are required for several ensembles in the Performing Arts department.

DANCE

Open auditions are required for all students wishing to participate in the dance concerts - Faculty Dance Concert and Student Dance Showcase.  Auditions for the Fall 2009 semester have concluded.  Auditions for the Spring 2010 semester are scheduled for January 29, 2010  Packets describing the audition details will be available the first week of classes in the PAC office area.  Additional information or questions:  Sally Jesse, 480 732 7136 or sally.jesse@cgcmail.maricopa.edu.

In addition to the concert auditions - a mandatory meeting for all Dance Majors will be held at 12:30 pm in the auditorium.  This meeting will include information on scholarships and other departmental information.

MUSIC

Auditions are required for the day choir - A Cappella-College Singers.  These auditions will be held the week prior to the semester start.  Students should prepare two songs of contrasting styles - one should be classical.  An accompanist will be provided.  Contact for more information:  Ed Hughes, 480 732 7008, jedmund@cox.net

Auditions for the evening Chamber Singers ensemble will be conducted by Rita Scholz, rscholzmus@aol.com

Auditions for the Orchestra will need to be arranged with the conductor, Gordon Andrus at gpamusic@cox.net.

Cast list for adult roles  - A Christmas Carol is listed here. Production dates are December 3-5, 2009  

Children's Roles --- all who auditioned on Oct 15 will be cast in the show -- Please come to rehearsal on Tuesday - Oct 20 at 4:15 pm.  Call backs for specific roles will be held at that time.

Major roles including Tiny Tim, Martha, and Jonathon as well as a variety of roles for children 8 + are available.
