Service-Learning combines academic instruction with meaningful service in the larger community.

• Learning - Intentional connection to curriculum
• Service - Meeting the needs to Local, National and/or Global communities
• Reflection - Connecting service and learning experiences to gain deeper understanding
• Assessment - Evaluate the learning
• Celebration - Recognize the contribution to the community

​Service-Learning enhances what is taught by extending students learning beyond the classroom and providing opportunities for students to use newly acquired skills and knowledge in real life situations in their communities, locally, nationally, and globally.
